If a quiet serene location is what you are looking for in your vacation rental, you will love staying at Colonial Charters! Ideally situated off of Highway 9, Colonial Charters is only a 6.5 mile drive to the ocean in Cherry Grove Beach! A golfer's paradise, Colonial Charters Golf Course is an 18-hole (semi-private) course that was opened to the public in 1988. The course designed by architect John Simpson features a driving range and has bermuda grass.
Colonial Charters 1B is a 3 bedroom 1st floor condo which features a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. The living room offers patio door access to the outside deck which overlooks the golf course. The master bedroom and 2nd guest bedroom both feature queen beds while the 3rd bedroom offers 2 twin beds.
Colonial Charters boasts a beautiful outdoor community swimming pool and is less than 1/2 mile away from the grocery store and several local restaurants. All of Southern Coast Vacations properties are non-smoking. Colonial Charters 1B does not allow pets.
Please note that although Colonial Charters 1B is a first floor unit, there are 5 steps from the ground to get to the first floor.
Other things to note:
This unit has a tv in the living room and one bedroom.
Guests are allowed 2 vehicles.
Linens are factored in to the final price of the stay.
Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

The master bedroom was ok but the other beds not so much. No tv for the first week but management was very responsive as soon as we called. No wifi and only one tv. Only one sofa and a broken chair in tv area. Red wasps living under stairs. Two of our party stung at different times very worn and a little dirty.

The condo was close to our location. The kitchen was well equipped. The condo is very outdated but we made it comfortable. We added cable and internet for our stay. The vertical blinds fell down if we tried to open or close them. The windows had broken seals thus unable to look out.

Well Satisfied with condo.6 miles from the beach. No problem with anyone. Rental agency has very good personnel working their. All amenities were excellent. Close to everything you may need.

Location was very nice; looked out over the first green; easy in and out of development. Used my own vacuum cleaner as the beater brush was broken on theirs. The numbers three and nine on the microwave were broken. Plenty of quick hot water for shower. Nice washer/dryer. The carpets MUST be replaced.

The location was wonderful and very comfortable. It was plenty room for all the guest. I would definately stay here again. My wife really enjoyed it for her 40th birtday. 10/10

Our overall experience was good, however the unit itself needs a deep cleaning. It doesn't appear that the mattress pads or comforters are ever cleaned, and they were so stained and dirty I threw them aside and wouldn't touch them. The blinds were missing many pieces in the living room which was a bit awkward as well. The master bathroom and bedroom had something brown smeared everywhere and made me not want to touch the walls.
